Tincture Teddies

After 2 day soak
Today I'm sharing a recipe for Tincture Teddies.

What you'll need:
  • 1 package gummy bears
  • A good amount of Cannabis Tincture (enough to cover the bears)
  • Mason jar and lid or other glass container with a lid
  • Time and patience

After 3 day soak
Instructions:

Place your gummy bears in mason jar. Cover bears with Cannabis tincture Place jar in fridge.  Shake jar daily.  When your gummy bears have doubled in size they are ready.  Store in sealed jar in the fridge and eat 1-4 bears as a medicated dose depending on your tolerance.

Any tincture that didn't absorb into the gummy bears is now flavored like the gummies and can be taken by dropper full under tongue for a sweetened sub-lingual medicine.

These little Tincture Teddies help the medicine go down.  The sweet chewy little bears soak up the marijuana tincture and lend their fruity sweetness to what can be a very medicinal tasting plain tincture of cannabis.

Stay Elevated!

  2. Has anyone got a good recipe for making gummies from Jello and unflavored gelatin using tincture? Sometimes infused oils work and sometimes they don't. I would like consistency, and wondered if using tinctures is a more foolproof method.

  3. I think this is a great idea, my first batch was unsuccesful, though. I believe I simply used gummies that were too hard and non-absorbent. The tincture was not soaked at all after 3 days. However, trying again today with softer gummies. Hope it works better

    1. If you are using a glycerin or agave based tincture try mixing equal part water and tincture. This will help it to absorb into the gummy candies

    1. No. Unfortunately this technique does not work well Swedish Fish or other jujube textured candies.

  5. Can the alcohol be evaporated without losing medicinal properties?

    1. Yes, absolutely. If this is your goal I would start with a smaller punt of alcohol so that you can evaporate it off easily

  6. Used "Haribo gold bears" and after 3 days there is no apparent change. I'm removing it from the fridge and putting it somewhere warm. Meanwhile, I'll buy a different Gummi brand tomm.
